Atletico Madrid 3:2 Valencia

Atletico Madrid vs Valencia
Spanish Copa del Rey Quarterfinals, 2nd leg

One week ago Valencia won at home, 1-0. But since then both teams lost by the same score in the Championship. Atletico away at Mallorca, Valencia at home to Almeria!!! Koeman has made the media responsible for that loss...
The guests will travel to the Vincente Calderon Stadium in Madrid without Morientes, Baraja, Vicente and Silva, although they haven't lost in the Cup to date.
Atletico has rested their most important player, Kun Aguero, at the weekend, and virtualy sacrificed that game. Now Raul Garcia also comes in after suspension. That's a big boost of morale for Aguirre's men. Simao will miss this game, but otherwise it'll be a full strength Atletico side. In the league, Atletico defeated Valencia at home.

I predict a home win tonight, at 10/11.

Racing Santander 2:0 Athletic Bilbao
Racing Santander vs Athletic Bilbao
Spanish Copa del Rey, Quarterfinal

Athletic are in the relegation zone as we speak and will have to do without a lot of important players tonight. Yeste, Iraizoz and Etxeberria are amongst them.
Racing are the hotest surprise in Spain this season. They managed to get themselves in the European mix and will try to get to the Final of La Copa del Rey. Santander has fielded a weaker side against Barcelona at the weekend and even despite that they've managed a 0-1 score, with big chances for a draw. Some important players were rested, including Polish star Ebi Smolarek.

I bet on Santander to secure a win tonight, at 10/11.
Lazio vs Fiorentina
Italian Cup, Quarterfinal 1st leg

Lazio are in the midst of a mediocre season in the league. They are ready to sacrifice the Cup, and focus on the fight for a European berth through the league.
Ballotta, Zauri, Ledesma, Rocchi and Pandev won't start tonight.
Fiorentina's coach Prandelli wants to give his fans an appointment with Juve or Inter in the semifinals, so he will ask for a commited performance from his team. This will be a mix of young and experienced players La Viola will field tonight. Vieri, Ujfalusi and Santana will be missing, while Mutu, Frey, Montolivo, Kuzmanovic and Pazzini will play.

I bet on Fiorentina not to lose tonight, at 2/5.

Fiorentina  vs Torino
Italian Serie A, 1930 GMT

Torino are a lowly team in the Italian Championship. As that wasn't enough they have quite a bunch of injuries to deal with. Fiorentina are fifth and looking to secure a Champions League participation for next season. They are in good form at the moment. Their only missing player will be centre back Dario Dainelli. Mutu and Vieri will be leading Viola's offence tonight. Mutu is Italy's second goalscorer with 10 goals as much as Zlatan Ibrahimovic has scored and two behind Trezeguet. I expect him to bag another one tonight and Fiorentina to win, even though it won't be easy. Coach Cesare Prandelli stated that Torino are hurt and they'll try to get anything from this one.
I predict a home team win, by only one or more, at 5/11.
Birmingham 0:1 Chelsea

Birmingham vs Chelsea
English Premier League, 1500 GMT

Birmingham are a good team. They managed a draw at Arsenal a week ago. But Chelsea are quite formidable at the moment. And beyond that, they've signed Nicolas Anelka.
With Carvalho back in the heart of defence Chelsea will concede so very hard. Lampard is also on the verge of a comback. Drogba and Essien are away at the African Cup of Nations.

I predict a most valuable win for Chelsea, at 7/11.

Real Madrid vs Mallorca
Spanish Copa del Rey

The first leg finished 2-1 for Mallorca. But. And that's a big but. Real haven't lost a point at the Bernabeu Stadium this season, beating Mallorca 4-3 in the process. Guiza had a great game for the visitors then, but he is out injured.
Real will be without Iker Casillas and Raul Gonzalez, which are rested for the Madrid derby against Atletico. The likes of Robinho, Sergio Ramos and van Nistelrooy will be on the field to ensure Real makes it through to the next round.

I bet 6000 units on Real Madrid, at 1/3.
Barcelona 0:0 Sevilla

Barcelona vs Sevilla
Spanish Copa del Rey

This is the return leg and it will be played at the Camp Nou in Gaudi's home town. In the first match, it finished one-a-piece. Sevilla is very weakened by a lot of missing players. Kanoute, Kone
and Keita are at the African Cup of Nations, while Escude is suspended.
Daniel Alves is hurting, but will play through pain killers, while the league's best goalscorer, Luis
Fabiano, most likely won't play due to an injury.
Barcelona are missing just Eto'o, Toure and Ronaldinho, the last of whom is ignored lately by coach Rijkaard. Henry is in good form, while Deco is back. Iniesta, Bojan or Giovani will lead the Blaugrana front line tonight and I simply expect a home victory.

I bet 5000 units on Barcelona, at 3/5.

Deportivo vs Atletico Madrid
Spanish Primera Division, 1600 GMT

Deportivo are second from bottom and are woeful at home, just 1 win from 8 games played at
El Riazor. Atletico are in search of a UCL berth. They have a lot of talent up front, with Simao, Reyes, Luis Garcia, Kun Aguero and Forlan, all involved.

I bet on Atletico to win this one, at 11/8.
