Manchester City 1:1 Liverpool
Manchester City vs Liverpool
English Premier League, 1600 GMT

Manchester City under Sven Goran Erikkson have been quite incredible at home.
They've won their first nine games at the City of Manchester Stadium,
scoring 17 goals and conceding just 5.
However, they've drawn the last game there, 2-2, on Thursday, versus Blackburn.
Liverpool has been better away than at home this season.
Their spanish manager, who won a Champions League Final and played another one,
this year, both with the Reds, has shuffled his team through this season more than any
other manager. But, if you take in consideration that this is the clash for the fourth place
in the standings, and the last one that guarantees Champions League football next
season, then I'll be quite sure Rafa Benitez will field his best eleven, including the likes of
Steven Gerrard and Fernando "El Nino" Torres. Liverpool won 4-0 at Marseille when
they needed to win. This kind of players just thrive for this kind of match-ups.
I predict an away win today, at the price of 11/10.

Liverpool 4:1 Portsmouth
Liverpool vs Portsmouth
English Premier League, 1500 BST

Liverpool have lost now 3 domestic matches in a row (1-3 at Reading, 0-1 at home v Man United and 0-2 at Chelsea). They do welcome back skipper Steven Gerrard, but one important man is still out; defender Daniel Agger is still nursing a lenghty injury. His replacement, Hyypia, showed so many leaks in his partnership with Carragher. And now that the Red's home invincibility has gone against United last week, it's all to play for Pompey.
The guests managed 6 wins in their last 6 away games (100%), beating Blackburn (1-0), Newcastle (4-1) and Aston Villa (3-1) in the process.
They have scored the most away goals in the English top flight, seventeen.
Usual goal scoring options will be on the field today, as Benjani will lead the frontline, and Kranjcar, Utaka, Muntari and Diop will come from behind to put the ball in the net.
Even though I fancy Portsmouth, I believe Liverpool will fight till the death for a point.

The safest most valuable bet is 3000 units
on Portsmouth to score anytime throughout the game, at 4/7.

I'm really hot right now. I'm boasting a thrilling

REAL MADRID 2:0 Osasuna
Real Madrid vs Osasuna
Spanish Primera DIvision, 2000BST

Osasuna have drawn with Sevilla and Valencia recently, at home, but the haven't been pushovers at all. Pandiani is out of this clash.
Real Madrid defeated Lazio, 3-1, in the Champions League. They haven't lost a single point at home in the domestic league. Next up, it'll be the big derby, at the Camp Nou Stadium, against Barcelona.
Till then, Raul, Robinho and van Nistelrooy will win this game.

I bet 10000 units on Real to win, at1/3.

Valencia 0:3 BARCELONA
Sunderland 1:1 Aston Villa
Valencia vs Barcelona
Spanish Primera Division, 2100 BST

The home side is suffering this year. Ronald Koeman's men are out of the Champions League.
In the domestic league they played five times at home, losing FOUR of them. Today there are worst news for them as a lot of first team players are out of action: Villa, Angulo, Baraja, Albiol, Alexis, Joaquin. Albelda is back.
Barca have a bad visiting record, winning just once at Levante, but Eto'o is back, as well as Deco,
Zambrotta, Yaya Toure. Rijkard has a full squad to pick up from.

I bet 5000 units on Barcelona, at 6/5.
Sunderland vs Aston Villa
English Premiership, 1500 BST

Sunderland has not impressed this season. They lost up against Chelsea last week, 0-2. Liam Miller is suspended for today's game. Aston Villa lost 1-3 at home against Portsmouth last time out. But O'Neill's troops are very good away from home. Stylian Petrov is the only absentee for Villa. The away side is 8th, but should go up.
I bet 2000 units on Aston Villa, at 11/8.

Real Madrid vs Lazio
Uefa Champions League, 1945 BST

Lazio have played well at home and managed a 2-2 draw against Real. Since then, they've
won twice and lost once, by the same score, 2-1. The Italians need to win in order to go
through.
Real Madrid also needs a win. They always play quality attacking football at the Santiago
Bernabeu Stadium. I believe Raul and van Nisterlrooy will run the Biancocelesti ragged
tonight.

I bet 5000 units on Real Madrid, at 5/11.

Atletico Madrid 1:0 Getafe
Villarreal 0:1 Betis
Middlesbrough 2:1 Arsenal
Middlesbrough vs Arsenal
English Premiership, 1330 BST

Boro are in a slump. They are weak at the back and also up front. Their biggest worry
today will be their on pitch, because it is large and Arsenal are the team the likes space
to attack. Arsenal are top of the league.

I bet 10000 units on Arsenal, at 3/5.

Villarreal vs Betis
Spanish Primera DIvision, 1600 BST

Villarreal are great at home. They want one of four Champions League's berths for next
season. Giuseppe Rossi is back after injury. Betis fired their coach, Argentine Raul Cuper.
They are in the relegation zone.

I bet 2000 units on the home side, at 1/2.

Atletico Madrid vs Getafe
Spanish Primera Division, 1800 BST

Both teams won in Denmark this week; Atletico has beaten Kobenhavn 2-0 on Wed, while
Getafe defeated Aalborg 2-1 a day after that. Getafe will be without Braulio, while Atletico
will miss Pablo.

I bet 2000 units on Atletico, at 4/5.

Reading 3:1 Liverpool
Reading vs LIverpool
English Premiership, 1715 BST

Reading are having a troubled season, far from the standard set last year.
Liverpool haven't lost this season. They find themselves fourth in the standings.
The Reds pretty much own this match, having won all the previous meetings between
these sides.

I bet 5000 units on Liverpool, at 2/3.

Milan 1:0 Celtic
Milan AC vs Celtic Glasgow
Uefa Champions League, 1945 BST

This is the final round of the group stage. Celtic need just a point in order to qualify to
the knock-out stage, while Milan need a point to win first place. It seems that the hosts
will be far from being push-overs tonight. Celtic have drawn twice with Milan in their last
three encounters, whilst once they've won, 2-1, at Celtic Park, this autumn.

I bet on this one to finish with a draw, at 10/11.

Poli Iasi 2:2 Otelul
Fiorentina 0:2 Inter
Fiorentina vs Inter
Italian Serie A, 1400 BST

Fiorentina played on Thursday in the Uefa Cup, in Athens, where they drew 1-1 with AEK.
Montolivo and Kroldrup are out for the Viola. Mutu is back, but he isn't 100% fit.
Inter are travelling to Firenze standing on top of the league, having not lost a match to date.
They pretty much own Fiorentina in the last three years. Vieira is out for Mancini's side, which
thrashed Fenerbahce 3-0 in midweek.

I bet 10000 units on Inter not to lose, at 2/5.

Poli Iasi vs Otelul
Romanian Liga I, 1445 BST

Otelul are woeful on their travels, having won only once, but their football is better lately.
The guests are at full strength, which hasn't been the case for a while. Poli are in a bit of a struggle at the moment.
I bet 2000 units on Otelul to get at least a point, at 7/10.
Espanyol 1:1 Barcelona

Saturday, December 01, 2007

Espanyol vs FC Barcelona
Spanish Primera Division, 2100 BST

This is the derby of Catalunya. Espanyol hosts Barca in a clash between 4th and 3rd placed
teams. Espanyol has a nine match unbeaten run, with 6 wins and three draws.
Barcelona won just once away from home, 4-1 at Levante, two months ago.
The guests will have to do without Henry, Eto'o, Thuram, Edmilson, Giovanni, Oleguer and Deco.

I bet 5000 units on Espanyol not to lose, at 7/11.
