Panathinaikos - Rapid, Uefa Cup.
Panathinaikos are already qualified for the knock-out stage.
Coach Victor Munoz will probably rest some players.
PAO are also missing their first choice Nigerian goalkeeper.
Rapid are quarter finalists in this competition last term.
They do miss keeper Coman and striker Mazilu, but they have
to win in order to hope for a berth in the next round.
Last year they defeated teams like Feyenoord, Hertha and Hamburg.
I back Rapid for a win tonight with 50 units, at 3/1.

Wednesday, November 29, 2006

Dinamo - Bayer 2-1. I won 70 units.
Grasshoppers - Sevilla 0-4. I won 120 units.
Bolton - Chelsea 0-1. I won 160 units.
I have a plus of 510 units.
Dinamo Bucuresti - Leverkusen, Uefa Cup.
Leverkusen are going through a crisis at the moment.
They are 3 points away from the relegation zone in the Bundesliga.
For tonight's match they miss one very important man, captain Ramelow.
They have just one point from two outings in the Uefa Cup.
Dinamo need just a point tonight in order to qualify.
They are unbeaten at home in European competitions in the last five years.
They've only drawn once. In the process they've defeated the 2005 Uefa Cup
holders CSKA Moskva, 1-0.
In the domestic league Dinamo are runaway leaders, 11 points in front of
Steaua and Rapid. with 13 wins, 1 draw and just 1 defeat.
I bet 50 units on Dinamo, at 7/5.
Bolton - Chelsea, Premier League.
After the Blues drawn 1-1 at Old Trafford in Manchester they will
be keen to restart their chase for the first spot.
Bolton are vulnerable at home even though they beat Arsenal 3-1 at
the weekend. They were beaten by Manchester United 4-0 also at
home, earlier this season. They just don't have the necesary depth in
their squad to entertain big teams like these, in consecutive match days.
And also they just play the same style of physical football in which
Chelsea are simply the masters. You simply cannot defeat Mourinho's
men with this kind of approach to the game.
Chelsea have no absentees in their squad.
I can't see Chelsea losing points twice in matter of days.
I back Chelsea for a win with 200 units, at 4/5.
Grasshoppers vs Sevilla, Uefa Cup.
Grasshoppers have lost three consecutive matches,
2 in their domestic league and the other at Liberec, 4-1, in
this sheer competition. They can't progress from the group stage, as
they only managed to grab one point so far.
Sevilla are at 4. They need all 3 points tonight to be sure they go through.
And as they are reigning champions, they really have the experience to
do just that. They have a lot of talent in their squad, with the likes of
Dani Alves, Adriano, Jesus Navas, Kepa, Kanoute or Luis Fabiano, all
scouted by the big clubs in Europe. Sevilla are second in La Liga, 2 points
behind Barcelona.
I bet 150 units on Sevilla, at 4/5.

Tuesday, November 28, 2006

I won 160 units, as Admira were comprehensively beaten at home
by Linzer, 3-1.
Starting with 1000 units.
I feel like Lask Linz are very powerful in Austria.
They really should be playing in the 1st League.
Till then they have to play away at Admira Wacker, tonight.
Admira is a distinctly average team and they are in some
bad form these days.
I bet 200 units on Lask Linz, at 4/5.

Monday, November 27, 2006

Since I posted for the first time on this blog,
I have posted 103 predictions.
I got 71 right.
That's a wonderful percentage of 68.93%!!!
Stuttgart - Gladbach 1-0 (+50).
Palermo - Inter 1-2 (+75).
Valencia - Real 0-1 (+75).
Belenenses - Porto 0-1 (+30).
Getafe - Levante 0-0 (-100).
That's a profit of 130 units.
The balance for the week reads 1432 (+43.2%).
My prediction rate is 70.58% (12/17).

Sunday, November 26, 2006

Siena - Fiorentina 1-1. (lost 50 units)
Sampdoria - Roma 2-4 won me 62.5 units.
That's another plus if 12.5 units.
Stuttgart - Borussia Monchengladbach.
Gladbach are the worst team away from home in the
Bundesliga. They also miss their German international,
Oliver Neuville.
Vfb Stuttgart seek to bounce right back after their 2-1
defeat at the hands of Bayern last Saturday.
I will back up Stuttgart with 100 units, at 1/2.
Palermo - Inter.
This is the derby in Serie A.
But Palermo do miss one important duo, Di Michelle and
Simplicio. Inter are at full strength, and they also posess
the experience.
I go with Inter with 50 units, at 3/2.
Valencia - Real Madrid.
Los Merengues are chasing league leaders Barcelona.
They'll miss Guti and Ronaldo for the clash at Mestalla.
Meanwhile, Valencia's coach is missing several important players:
Vicente, Albelda, Edu, Villa.
I bet 50 units on Real Madrid, at 3/2.
Belenenses - Porto.
Porto are leaders in the Portuguese league.
They've also qualified for the Champions League.
Belenenses have lost their past two outings.
I bet 50 units on Porto, at 3/5.
Getafe - Levante.
Getafe are great at home.
They scored five goals and didn't concede,
having beaten Real Madrid in the process.
Levante have their most important striker missing, Kapo.
I bet 100 units on Getafe, at 4/5.
Siena - Fiorentina.
I'll go with Fiorentina. They are in great need of points.
Siena are miserable at home.
I bet 50 units on Fiorentina, at 3/2.
Sampdoria - Roma.
Sampdoria are safe, while Roma want to go top of the
league. They rested some players in midweek's Champions
League fixture in Ukraine, and are at full strength.
I bet 50 units on Roma, at5/4.

Saturday, November 25, 2006

Aston Villa had me backstabbed as they drawn at home against Boro, 1-1.
I lost 100 units.
West Ham - Sheffield Utd 1-0 gave me 45 units.
Farul - cfr 0-2. I won 87.5 units.
That's another profit per day of 32.5 units.
The balance reads 1289.5, which means a plus of 28.95%.
My prediction rate is 72.7% (8/11).

Aston Villa - Middlesbrough.
The home side are putting together  great performances at home,
and away they are almost unbeatable. Manager Martin O'Neill has
an injury free squad to pick from. Boro are miserable from home.
Gareth Southgate has some problems with slight injuries, as Stuart
Downing and Mark Viduka are uncertain.
I bet 100 units on Villa, at 9/10.
West Ham - Sheffield United.
West Ham are without new major injury concerns and there's another
plus for them: every player will try to go out there and prove a point,
following this week's take over ov the club by a wealthy Icelandic
business man. Sheffield looked great in the last 3 matches:
1-0 away at Newcastle, 2-2 at home v Bolton, and a close 2-1 defeat to
Manchester United. I feel that today they'll sucumb and lose quite
heavily, also because they still have major injuries, and haven't got enough
depth in the squad to sustain this kind of good form in the English top flight.
I go with West Ham. 60 units, at 3/4.
Farul - cfr.
Farul has a handful of top men injured, in the likes of Todoran, Nae, Curca
and T. Moldovan. cfr are in big need of points to end this year on a high note.
They are highly motivated. There's also another factor: in the past 2 years
they've always won this fixture 1-0 and 2-1.
I bet 50 units on cfr, at 7/4.
Lask Linz won 2-0, which gave me 50 units.
I have 1257 units now.

Friday, November 24, 2006

Lask Linz - Gratkorn
In the Austrian 2nd Division there is one big favourite side.
That is Lask Linz.
The others are just sparing partners.
I bet 100 units on Lask,  at 1/2.

Thursday, November 23, 2006

Feyenoord - Blackburn 0-0. I lost 80 units.
Sevilla - Braga 2-0 and I won 80 units.
Espanyol - Waregem 6-2 gave me 100 units.
I have a profit of 20.7% (207 units).
My prediction rate is 71.42% (5/7).
Espanyol - Zulte Waregem.
The Spaniards have quite a plus in quality in their squad.
While the Belgian outfit are already qualified and will be
very relaxed.
I bet 200 units on Espanyol, at 1/2.

Sevilla - Braga.
Braga has 3 points already, while Sevilla has just one.
The Spaniards are the reigning champions in this competition.
I bet 200 units on Sevilla, at 2/5.

Feyenoord - Blackburn.
Blackburn are already qualified.
They'll miss their most important man, in Robbie Savage.
Feyenoord are in great form, as they beat at the weekend AZ
Alkmaar, 3-2.
In my opinion the Dutch team will win.
I bet 80 units at 5/4.

Wednesday, November 22, 2006

Inter - Sporting 1-0 won me 45 units.
Internazionale - Sporting.
Inter will win tonight because they simply need it, and
they have the power at their side.
Sporting are missing their most important striker, Liedson.
I bet 100 units on Inter, at 9/20.

Tuesday, November 21, 2006

Benfica - Kobenhavn 3-1 won me 55 units.
CSKA - Benfica 0-2. That's 2 goals scored. I won 57 units.
Real Madrid - Lyon 2-2 (Van Nistelrooy missed a penalty
one minute from time). I lost 50 units.
That's a prediction rate of 66% (2/3).
And a plus of 62 units.
Today I will bet 100 units on Benfica to win at home against FC Kobenhavn.
This is priced at 11/20.
Benfica have drawn in Copenhagen two fortnights ago, having played better.
It should be said that Benfica won their last outing in the Champions League,
3-0 at home, against a very strong Celtic Glasgow team, without having any
problem. FC Kobenhavn have lost both away games played away from home
in this competition.
Kick off time: 2045 CET.

My second bet for tonight will be from the game facing Russian and Portuguese
champions, CSKA Moskva and FC Porto respectively. CSKA are first in the table
with 8 points, while Porto are second on 7 points. CSKA won 4 points against
Arsenal (1-0 @ home and 0-0 in London). They didn't concede in this competition,
having scored twice in the process (the other goal in the 1-0 win against HSV
at home). In Portugal these two teams managed a goaless draw.
I will bet 100 units that this match will end with under 2.5 goals scored.
The odds are 57/100.
The match starts at 1830 CET.

The last prediction of the day concerns the match that'll be played at the Santiago
Bernabeu Stadium, involving Real Madrid and Olympique Lyonnais.
Even though Lyon look invincible, they miss some powerfull attacking force, with
they likes of Wiltord, Govou, Benzema and Fred out of contention for this fixture
due to injuries. Real, meanwhile, will try to revenge their 2-0 thrashing in Lyon
earlier this fall, and at the same time go top of this group.
They don't have new injury worries.
I'll bet 50 units on Real Madrid, at 6/5. It all starts at 2045 CET.

Monday, November 20, 2006

Genk - Bruges 0-0. I lost 40 units.
Ceahlaul - Rapid 0-3. I earned 35 units.
Marseille - Valencienes 1-0. I won 25 units.
That's a plus of 198 units last week (39.6%).
My prediction rate per week was 60% (9/15).

I'll start this week with 1000 units.

Sunday, November 19, 2006

Metz - Ajaccio 2-0 gave me 50 units.

Genk - Brugges 1. I bet 40 units, at 5/4. 1800 CET.
Ceahlaul - Rapid 2. 50 units, at 7/10. 1930 CET.
Marseille - Valencienes 1. 50 units, at 1/2. 2100 CET.
Metz - Ajaccio 1. 100 units, at 1/2. 1600 CET

Saturday, November 18, 2006

Real - Racing 3-1. (+ 60 units)
Empoli - Milan 0-0. (+ 20 units)
Sedan - Lyon 0-1. (+ 25 units)
That a total plus of 105.
The balance reads 628 units.
Bayern - Stuttgart 2-1. I lost 25 units .
Portsmouth - Watford 2-1. I won 18 units.
Sheffield Utd - Manchester Utd 1-2. I won 50 units.
Now I have 523 units.
Bayern - Stuttgart 2. 25 units, at 4/1.
Portsmouth - Watford 1. 30 units, at 6/10.
Empoli - Milan 1x. 20 units, evens.
Sedan - Lyon 2. 50 units, at 1/2.
Real - Racing 1. 200 units, at 3/10.
Sheffield - Manchester Utd 2. 100 units, at 1/2.
I've lost 30 units as Dinamo have drawn away at
Unirea 1-1.
Poli II - "U" Cluj 0-0.
Lost 50 units.
I do have an early tip for today.
Unirea Urziceni - Dinamo Bucharest.
Unirea Urziceni are the helpless in front of the best offense in
Romania (Niculescu, Danciulescu and Ganea).
I bet 30 units on Dinamo, at 1/2. It starts at 1200 CET.
Austria Vienna Am - Lask Linz 1-4.
I won 60 units.
Now I'm on 560.

Friday, November 17, 2006

These are Friday's exquisite tips:
Austria Vienna AM - Lask Linz
Lask Linz are runaway leaders in the Austrian
Second Division. They won't have problems winning, tonight.
I bet 80 units on Lask, at 3/4. (1900 CET)
Poli II Timisoara - "U" Cluj-Napoca
"U" are first in the Romania's Liga 2.
They are very good against teams that play attacking football.
And that's why they'll preveil tomorrow morning.
I bet 50 units on "U", at 5/4. (Saturday morning at 1000 CET)

Wednesday, November 15, 2006

Ivory Coast - Sweden 1-0.
Serbia - Norway 1-1.
I won 100 units today.
The balance reads 500 units.

Wednesday's international tips:
Ivory Coast - Sweden
Ivory Coast will play at full strength at Le Mans, tonight.
Drogba, Aruna Kone and Dindane will play up-front for them.
Sweden are missing several players: Ibrahimovic, Allbäck,
Elmander, Källström, Ljungberg, Linderoth, Svensson,
Mellberg, Isaksson.
Also, they have a poor record in friendlies: 1 win, 7 draws and
3 defeats.
I bet 100 units on the Ivory Coast, at 3/2. (1815 CET)
Serbia - Norway
The match will be played at Maracana Stadium in Beograd,
a 100000 capacity arena. The Serbs won't be missing important
players, while Norway are without Manchester United star,
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
I tip Serbia for this game, with 50 units, at 4/5. (2015 CET)
 Australia - Ghana 1-1.
Lost 60 units.

Tuesday, November 14, 2006

I tip a international friendly today.
Australia gear up against Ghana, in London.
Australia will be without captain Lucas Neil,
Mark Viduka, Tim Cahill and Harry Kewell.
Ghana are missing Mensah (Rennes).
Ghana will be lining up a team which will include
Chelsea star Michael Essien, Matthew Amoah
and Sulei Ali Muntari.
The Black Stars will host the next African Cup of
Nations in 2007, and are prepairing for that
tournament, which they'll ve eager to win.
I bet 60 units on Ghana to lead at half time and
also win, at 10/3. (2045 CET)

Monday, November 13, 2006

Le Havre - Metz 1-1.
I'm on 460 units now.
This is a new week. I start over, with 500 units.
So let's get it started.
Tonight, in France, it's Le Havre against Metz, in Ligue 2.
Le Havre are aiming high, but they are currently sixth, with
a particularly good away form, where they never lost.
They lost twice when playing at home.
Meanwhile, FC Metz are first, 5 points ahead of the pack.
They conceded just six times, and have by far the best defence.
Metz' attacking force is pretty much comparable to Le Havre's (22 v 23).
Metz lost just once this term, in their third game, and are now
enjoying a twelve match unbeaten run, with five wins in a row.
I bet 40 units on Metz, at 13/8. (20.30 CET)
These are the last events I've tipped last week:
Barcelona - Zaragoza 3-1 (20 units gained).
Osasuna - Real Madrid 1-4 (80 more units).
That means another whole 100.
And it brings me to a total of 853.5 units earned.
That's a plus of 70.66%.
The prediction rate for the week that has ended is
71.42% (10 out of 14).

Sunday, November 12, 2006

Sociedad - Espanyol 1-1 and I lost 20 units.
But,
Arsenal trashed Liverpool three goals to nil,
which won me 50 more units;
and Stuttgart managed a win at Hannover, 2-1,
in a dramatic game, giving me another 62.5 :) units.
That's a total of 753.5 this week;
meaning that I have  a profit of 50.7% and
a prediction rate of 66% (8/12).

Lazio - Udinese 5-0 (36 units).
Palermo - Torino 3-0 (50 units).
I won another 86 units. And that brings me to
a total of 661.
My prediction rate goes up to 66.66% (6/9).
PSV's 1-0 win at the dispense of Ajax got me 70 units.
The balance reads 575 units now.
But for this match, it has been a distinctly average week.
My temporary prediction is 57% (4 out of 7).
These are the rest of my tips:
Arsenal - Liverpool.
Arsenal have been frustrated at their new Emirates Stadium,
where they've drawed their last three games.
On the other side Liverpool have a shockingly poor away
record this term, as they haven't won to date, scoring just
once and conceding nine times in the process. Also, they will
be without Mohamed Sissoko, a fairly important player lately.
I bet 50 units on Arsenal today, evens. (1700 CET)
Barcelona - Zaragoza.
Zaragoza are a very good team lately. They won away at Atletico
just a fortnight ago, but now they are facing Barcelona.
Barca will have to cope with the injuries of Eto'o and Xavi, but
they have the depth in the squad to finish this job in their favour.
I bet 45 units on Barca, at 4/9. (2100 CET)
Osasuna - Real Madrid.
Osasuna have a poor start of the season, failing to get together,
and manage back-to-back wins.
Real are desperate for a win tonight. They'll miss only Brazilian
striker Ronaldo. So the avangarde should be composed from Guti,
Robinho, Raul and Ruud van Nistelrooy.
I bet 100 units on Real, at 8/10. (1900 CET)
Hannover 96 - Vfb Stuttgart.
Hannover won away at Bayern on Wednesday, 1-0.
But they are struggling in the league, where they are fighting to
avoind relegation. They haven't got the depth to manage good
performances just three days away, one from another.
Stuttgart are in sensational form. They do not have new injuries.
Coach Armin Veh brought a very good spirit to the team.
I'll go with Stuttgart tonight with 50 units, at 5/4. (1700 CET)
Real Sociedad - Espanyol.
These two teams are the poorest scoring outfits in La Liga,
both with just five goals added to their tally. But while Espanyol
are on 8 points, having managed five consecutive draws, and are
playing well in the UEFA Cup, Sociedad have only got 2 points, and
they are poised to go down come the end of the season.
Espanyol have great talent in their squad, with the likes of Kameni,
Ivan de la Pena, Riera and Raul Tamudo, all eager for a win tonight.
Sociedad can't find the determination they were known for.
I bet 20 units on Espanyol, at 2/1. (1700 CET)
Lazio - Udinese.
Lazio are eager for a win in the Serie A. Their coach, Delio Rossi
questioned the squad's spirit this week and the biancocelesti will be
eager to prove a point today.
Udinese travel to the capital without injured trio Muntari, Eremenko
and Di Natale.
I bet 40 units on Lazio, at 9/10. (1500 CET)
Palermo - Torino.
Palermo are joint first in the italian top-flight alongside Internazionale.
They will play today at their own Renzo Barbera Stadium, against lowly
Torino, who will travel to Sicily without Lazetici and Franceschini, while
Muzzi is doubtful. Palermo are missing one player, Pisano. So coach Guidolin
will prefer the 3-5-2 formation that defeated Sampdoria at the weekend.
Palermo lost in the Italian Cup, in midweek. And it should be said that they
haven't lost two consecutive matches all season.
I bet 100 units on Palermo at 1/2.
It's derby time in the Netherlands:
Ajax v PSV.
These are the best teams in Holland.
They are very much of the same quality in every position of their respective elevens.
But I'll go on the edge that PSV has on Ajax.
The coach Ronald Koeman, who also knows very well the Ajax players, having coached
them  a couple of years ago, and the fact that PSV is involved in the UEFA Champions
League, and they're through to the eliminatory stage, while Ajax failed to qualify for the
World's biggest footballing competition.
I fancy PSV for an away win at the Amsterdam Arena.
I'll bet 40 units, at 7/4. Kick off at 1230 CET.
Valencia - Atheltic 1-1. Lost 60 units.
Portsmouth - Fulham 1-1 and I lost another 40.
I won 105 units with Manchester United , who beat Blackburn 1-0.
Now I have 510 units.

Saturday, November 11, 2006

These are my predictions for Saturday:
Blackburn - Manchester United.
United have just been eliminated from the FA Cup by Championship side,
Southend, on Tuesday. I feel they will want revenge tonight.
And there couldn't have been a better sparing-partner than Blackburn, a struggling
side, who hasn't won in their last outings in the Premier League. Rovers'
downfall came when Robbie Savage got injured. He is still missing today.
On the other side. Sir Alex Ferguson has a full squad to choose from, with Giggs,
Cristiano Ronaldo, Rooney and Saha in the first eleven.
I bet 150 units on United to win, at 7/10. Kick off time: 1815 CET.
Valencia - Athletic Bilbao.
Bilbao are fourth from bottom in La Liga, when they travel to Valencia.
Valencia on the other side are some points off the leaders, Sevilla.
They are trying to get back up there. And they will, because they have a
great strike force, with Joaquin, Vicente, Morientes and last season's top
goalscorer David Villa all in contention for this game.
I bet 60 units on Valencia, at 1/2. It starts at 1900 CET.
And now to England again: Portsmouth vs Fulham.
Portsmouth are aiming to go back to third at the end of these match.
They are back to their own stadium, Fratton Park where they enjoyed a
great form this season, having won all but one game. Strikers Kanu and
Lualua are back for Harry Redknapp's troops. Fulham are having a torrid
time this season, when they are fighting to avoid relegation. They won last
weekend at home against Everton. But they were dominated from start to finish.
They are missing Jimmy Bullard for today's game.
I fancy Portsmouth for a win. I put up 40 units, at 8/10. It gets under way at
1600 CET.

Friday, November 10, 2006

Werder - BVB 1-3. Lost 70 units.
Got 505 units at this moment.
The first match for tonight, Parndorf - Lask 0-1, won me 70 units.
I got two tips for tonight.
The first is from Austria, and the Second Division.
Parndorf (10) hosts Lask Linz, the runaway leaders.
Linz are relegated from the First Division and they
are looking to bounce right back. And they posess
the means and quality needed to do just that.
I bet 100 units on Lask, at 7/10. The kick off is at
1900 CET.
In the Bundesliga, it's Werder again. They entertain
BVB at the Wesserstadion, where they had a tough time
at the weekend, managing only a draw against the
surprising new-comers Energie Cottbus. Werder welcome
back Ivan Klasnic, and their only problem is suspended
midfielder Frank Baumann.
Meanwhile, Borussia Dortmund are having
a strugling start of the season, standing in 9th. They
drawed their last 6 consecutive matches, and they aren't
that dangerous when playing away. Dortmund are missing
important players: Cristoph Metzelder and Sebastian Kehl,
both German internationals.
These two sides' coresponding last three fixtures in Bremen
saw Werder coming away with just as many wins.
I'm going with 70 units on Werder, at 1/2. It starts at
2030 CET.

Thursday, November 09, 2006

Vitesse - PSV 0-4. I won 75 units.
Now I have 505 units, going into the weekend.
For tonight, I've  chosen a match from the Netherlands Cup.
It's Vitesse up against PSV Eindhoven.
In the recent years, PSV have always beaten Vitesse, both home
and away, without exception. Ronald Koeman's side misses only Cocu from their best
eleven, as they are hoping to continue their great form, which saw them through to the
knock-out stage of the Uefa Champions League.
I bet 150 units on PSV, at 1/2. The game starts at 2000 CET.

Bielefeld - Hertha 2-2.
I lost 20 units; 70 so far.
Tonight's exquisite tip is also from the Bundesliga.
Arminia Bielefeld v Hertha Berlin will start at 2000 CET.
With a win Arminia will jump to second in the league.
And they do have the ambition needed. They're unbeaten at
home this season.
Hertha meanwhile are not very happy away from the German
capital. They never won when playing outside the Olympiastadion.
Tonight they are missing their captain Arne Friedrich and their
most talented player, Yildiray Basturk.
I fancy the home side for a win.
I bet 20 units, at 8/5.
Stuttgart - Hamburg finished 2-0. 0-0 at half time.
And although it was a nice clear win, it came in the final ten minutes.
I lost 50 units.

I'll start again with 500 units.
This is my first tip for this week and it concerns
VFB Stuttgart and Hamburger SV.
Hamburg stands 4th from bottom in the Erste Bundesliga,
with just one win to date. They are also eliminated from
the Uefa Champions League having lost four times from
four outings (Arsenal - at home, CSKA Moskva - away
and FC Porto - both home and away). On Saturday they've
lost away at lowly Wolfsburg 1-0. So, they've really
been embarassing. I should add that they are still missing
about seven important faces for this match, with the most
important being defender Vincent Kompany, Argentine skipper
Juan Pablo Sorin and Swiss international Rafael Wicky.
Coach Thomas Doll has been heavily criticised for the summer
transfers and his job is very unsecure before this fixture.
He knows a loss tonight will mean that he's fired.
Meanwhile Stuttgart has been the black horse in the 2006-2007
Bundesliga season, enjoying a rich vein of form. Armin Veh's
men are placed second in Germany. In their last two outings
they thrashed Schalke 04 at home (1-0) 3-0 and Alemania Aachen
away (1-2) 2-4. They don't have new injury concerns which means
their coach can line-up his best eleven. Their lead striker is
Mario Gomez, who notched up six goals this term. I should also
add that Stuttgart defeated giants Werder Bremen at Wesserstadion
three goals to two in the process.
I'm going for a VFB Stuttgart win tonight, with the home side
leading at the break. I'll put up 50 units. The odds are 19/10.
The game will comence at 20.00 CET.

I'll make a general round-up of all the tips given on this blog.
From a total of 57 events tipped, I've got 40 right.
My percentage is 70.175%.

Nancy - Bordeaux 2-1. I won another 25 units.
That's a profit on the day of 80 units.
The week's round-up:
Prediction rate: 70.58% (12/17).
I started with 500 units.
I've gained 310 units in the process.
That's a plus of 62%.

Palermo - Sampdoria 2-0. I won 15 units.
West Ham - Arsenal 1-0. Lost 40.
Jiul - Craiova 1-2 (won 30).
Sevilla - Osasuna 2-0 (won 50 units).
Balance: 55 units profit.
A full-strength Palermo wins today on home turf, at Renzo Barbera Stadium,
against a Sampdoria side without their star player, Francesco Flacchi.
I bet 20 units, at 3/4, on the game which kicks off at 1500 CET.
A very hungry for points Arsenal will wipe off the chalenge of West Ham.
40 units, at 11/20. The match starts at 1430 CET.
Nancy - Bordeaux 1 (20 units, at 5/4). Kick off at 1830 CET
Jiul - Universitatea Craiova 2 (20 units, at 3/2). The actions will get under way
at 1300 CET.
Sevilla FC - Osasuna 1 (100 units, at 1/2). It starts at 1700 CET.

Saturday, November 04, 2006

Manchester United - Portsmouth 3-0. And I won 95 units.
Rennes - Lyon 1-0. I lost 20 units, as Lyon were finally beaten.
Juninho Pernambucano was dismissed in the process.
My profit for today is 75 units.
These are Saturday's exquisite tips:
Manchester United - Portsmouth 1 (-1.5) (100 units, at 19/20).
United welcome back Ryan Giggs, as they host a Portsmouth side
which will be weak in defence due to the injuries of Glen Johnson and
Linvoy Primus. United will be eager to put the pressure on Chelsea
and mantain their first place in the Premiership.
Stade Rennais - Olympique Lyonnais 2 (20 units, at 6/10).
Lyon are cruising through Le Championat, as they really look unstoppable.
With their defence composed by Squillaci and Muller they look
unpenetrable, and also their attacking force is formidable with the
likes of Malouda, Benzema, Wiltord, Govou and Juninho Pernambucano.

Ajax - Austria (1-0) 3-0. Won 12 units.
Palermo - Newcastle 0-1. Lost 40 units.
Dinamo - Besiktas 2-1. Won 100 units.
72 units profit on the day.
My total balance rises to 655 units.
That's a profit to date of 155 units, 31%.
My prediction rate is 70% (7/10).

Thursday, November 02, 2006

From tonight's UEFA Cup clashes I picked the following:
Ajax - Austria Vienna 1/1 (20 units, at 3/5).
Austria Vienna are second from bottom in their domestic
league, while Ajax are goin through a rich vein of form.
Ajax will start up-front with their fantastic striker
Klaas-Jan Huntelaar.
Palermo - Newcastle 1 (40 units, at 9/10).
Palermo are joint-leaders in the Italian top-flight, the
Serie A, alongside Internazionale. Lately they defeated
Milan AC, 2-0, at the San Siro and Fiorentina, 3-2 at the
week-end, at Artemio Franchi Stadium in Florence. The
rosaneri are without absentees and will play at full strength.
Newcastle will be missing their most important strikers,
Obafemi Martins, Shola Ameobi, Michael Owen, all through
injuries and, on-loan from M.U., Italian forward Giusseppe
Rossi, who is rested.
Dinamo Bucuresti - Besiktas 1 (100 units, evens).
Dinamo have won 19 matches in all competitions this seasons,
and drawn just once. They have a great trio up-front in the
likes of Danciulescu, Niculescu and Ganea, completed by the
most-creative midfield. Dinamo are first in Romania, 12 points
clear off arch rivals Steaua, which they defeated at Stefan cel
Mare Stadium, 1-0.
Meanwhile, Besiktas lost at home in their first Uefa Cup game,
0-2 against Tottenham Hotspurs. And if that wasn't enough they
are missing their striking duo, Nobre and Kleberson. And it is a
known-fact that they are a power at Inonu Stadium, but they
are performing scarcely away from home.

Real Madrid - Steaua (0-0) 1-0. Lost 20 units.
Lyon - Dynamo Kyiv (1-0) 1-0, and I won 15 units.
Arsenal - CSKA 0-0, won 30 units.
I've bet 90 units. Lost 20.
Won 45.
That's a swell profit on the day of 25 units.
Now I have a total of 558+25=583 units.
My prediction rate is 71% (5/7).
These are tonight's exquisite tips:
Real Madrid - Steaua 1/1 (HT/FT) (20 units on Real, at 1/2).
Lyon - Dynamo Kyiv 1/1 (30 units, at 1/2).
Arsenal - CSKA under (40 units, at 3/4).
Kick-offs are at 2045 CET.
